DiscoDisco is a sound reactive light sculpture inspired by the humble disco ball. Initiated by creative entrepreneur Alex Asseily, the product has been designed and developed and now brought to market by Haberdashery, and is being launched at the May Design Series, London. A modular system that is currently mounted on a simple ring to echo the disco ball aesthetic, the series of 'fins' can be arranged in far larger configurations to suit large atrium spaces whether public or private. The system can be calibrated to respond via parabolic microphones to gentle whispers through to a prime ordeal scream, or to a simple line in playing a soundtrack, sending beautiful white light dancing around the surrounding wall, floor and ceiling surfaces. It is a next generation disco ball.
