Novellara

Novellara is a Long-term project documenting the Sikh community in Italy. Novellara is a non-linear body of work centred around the places and local residents of the town. Media representation of the Sikh community and other South Asian Diaspora within Italy over the last decade has been based around migration, labour work, religious instabilities and more recently exploitation. Many stories surround negative news or focus on topics like religion, employment and emigration.
