People Like Me Rely On The Universal Credit Uplift. Don’t Take It Away From Us

In association with the The Young Women's Trust and the Huffington Post, on 02/03/2021 I wrote an opinion piece article ahead of the annual Budget 2021, that took place on 03/03/2021, detailing my experiences of: being on Universal Credit and having to job hunt during the pandemic, and the positive difference the £20 uplift has had on my life and the lives of others, along with urging the goverment to extend and not scrap the uplift during this difficult time.
