About me
I am a professional photographer specialising in working with creatives, including museums, charities, hotels and magazines. My clients include the Charles Dickens Museum, Firstsite, Contemporary Applied Arts gallery and The English Garden magazine. I have a background in picture libraries, specialising in museums. This experience gives me an understanding of the very unique needs of museums and the importance of delivering strong collections of images to all my clients, ensuring they have impactful images they can use widely. I offer a range of services from discreet documentary/reportage photography, exhibition installation, architectural, interiors and object photography. I am also Projects Director at Shutter Hub, an organisation providing opportunities, support and networking for creative photographers worldwide, where I work on many projects, planning and producing exhibitions, writing for the blog and developing the Postcards from Great Britain archive.

  • DO NOT PARK YOUR CARS HERE
DO NOT PARK YOUR CARS HEREAt the end of 2022 I spent three days in Bangkok, Thailand. We crammed as much as we could into those three days: saw a lot of incredible, beautiful things, ate delicious food and walked a long way. As we made our way around I was fascinated by the various ways people tried to prevent cars from parking in certain spots. Broken stools, specially purchased extendable barriers, some almost sculptural constructions: these are the devices I captured throughout that brief visit. I’ve made a small zi

TRIVIAL MATTER10 happy minutes chasing steam with my camera, imagined scenarios about the train ticket found in my second-hand book, something appealing about the light on the everyday objects on the table, a moment of appreciation for a favourite mug. Trivial Matter is a collection of the things that have occupied my mind, sometimes alleviating the pressure of other things that occupy my mind, sometimes just sending me on a random tangent when I’m supposed to be doing something else. Primarily a zine projec

Photography for Contemporary Applied Arts - Ali Holloway: Commons - the rhythm of a walkLast autumn I was commissioned by Contemporary Applied Arts gallery (CAA) to photograph textile artist Ali Holloway at work on her pieces for her exhibition 'Commons: the rhythm of a walk'. Commons is inspired by the walks Ali was taking during lockdown, and takes the sounds from these walks and translates them into pattern and texture in textiles. It was wonderful to spend time with Ali to photograph her at work, to learn more about her process and the pieces themselves. Due to the lockdown si
