About me
I'm the Creative Director at lombaert studio, a green graphic design studio. We design stories that connect brands and people together for a better future. We love orange, but we think in green. We are passionate about graphic design and sustainability and we want to challenge the status quo. We are here to help our clients to make bold choices and enable positive behaviour towards a brighter future. We are a multi-disciplinary design studio that offers art direction, visual identity, print design, web design and exhibition graphics with a creative yet pragmatic mindset. Our studio is based in South London but we work with talented people across the globe. We hand-picked creative collaborators to fit the unique needs of each project. Our approach places conceptual thinking and collaboration with our clients at the core of our creative process.
Projects
  • British Museum, Manga
British Museum, MangaThe British Museum hosts the largest exhibition dedicated to manga ever held outside of Japan. Immersive and playful, the exhibition explores manga’s global appeal and cultural crossover. Manga is a visual narrative art form telling stories from gender to adventure, in real or imaginary worlds. The marketing campaign had to reflect on the wide variety of the subjects and appeal to a non-traditional British Museum audience. We used a fluorescent orange widely used as a complementary colour in bl

The Ruskin, Lancaster UniversityRuskin was a renowned teacher, lecturer and public intellectual, who campaigned for education for all. As a leading critic of his era and early environmentalist, Ruskin transformed the way we think about art and life. The Ruskin – Library, Museum and Research Centre celebrates Ruskin’s relevance to our world today. Our graphic approach, inspired by Ruskin's connections between Art and Nature, conveys his 'truth to nature' by using a simple and organic approach to typography. We designed a bespo
  • Dandydill Way
Dandydill WayDandydill Way is a luxurious range of toiletries for children aged 6 months upwards. Formulated and made in England, the natural ingredients are all carefully chosen for their high quality. The Dandydill Way logotype evokes the dandelion in which the brand rooted its inspiration. Floating letters draws imagination of seeds being blown in the wind. The minimal and elegant design hints at the natural and trusted formula of the toiletries range. Each product is represented by a bespoke colour draw
  • Venom
VenomVenom, Killer and Cure Exhibition design, Natural History Museum London, 2017 Venom explores our fear and fascination with nature's most deadly cocktails. The exhibition is organised into three sections designed as distinct immersive experiences. Our organic design approach reflects venom fluidity when spread through the body. Translucent materials create a skin effect and convey its fragility and our vulnerability facing venom and its power. An eerie atmosphere is also achieved by playing with
  • British Museum, Edvard Munch
British Museum, Edvard MunchThe British Museum lifts the veil on Edvard Munch’s life and work in the largest print showcase in 45 years. We worked in close collaboration with the Museum to develop the visuals of the marketing campaign. The emotional intensity of ‘the Scream’ is enhanced with an elongated dramatic crop that echoes the posture of the main character. This enabled the audience to face the persona and bring more focus on his facial expression. The complementary turquoise hue used in print and digital assets wa
  • Victoria and Albert Museum, invitation
Victoria and Albert Museum, invitationThe V&A commissioned Lombaert Studio to design the invitations for the opening of their major capital build project, the Exhibition Road Quarter. The two invitations are a graphic celebration of the new building architecture. The first invitation represents the dazzling porcelain-tiled courtyard with its inscribed graphic lines in blue, red and yellow. The second one takes its lines from the faceted origami ceiling of the Sainsbury Gallery. Foil and debossing echo the texture and depth of the a
