First Great Western_ The Great Taste Trail

  • Ross Crawford ( Ahoy There )
With 50 kinds of locally-sourced food available on their trains, First Great Western have got 50 great reasons to shout about their travellers’ eating experience. All supplied by a range of local suppliers, each within 15 miles of the railway route, from big names like Tyrrells Crisps and Dorset Cereals, to lesser-known gems like Chunk pies and Whalesborough cheeses.

So Ahoy There teamed with The Leith Agency to create The Great Taste Trail, highlighting each supplier and the food they provide, using an interactive map of the railway.

The result is a mouth-watering culinary journey around the South-West.
