About me

Alice Stewart is a creative technologist and designer based between Amsterdam and London. As an educator she has taught internationally and established Hackspace workshops at institutions such as Kingston University and the Royal College of Art in London. Her clients and collaborators include Nike UK, Harrods, 72andSunny Amsterdam and Galeria Melissa (London), and her work has been featured in such publications as The Guardian, It’s Nice That and Complex Magazine.

  True Self at Galeria MelissaA photobooth that takes a photograph of your True Self, exhibited at Galeria Melissa in Covent Garden, London Inspired by Aura photography, tarot cards and horoscopes, the photobooth reveals a portrait of the user's True Self.   Nike - London on AirExplaining the idea, Alice Stewart said: "I was inspired by the NES version of ‘Prince of Persia’, which came out at around the same time as Air Max 1. The game is 8-bit style so it seemed like the most relevant way to tell the story of a shoe that made its debut in the 80s."
