About me
Taken from the about page on https://www.spinningshapes.com Ed’s passion for capturing moments through a lens began before he lost his first set of teeth. He received a diploma in TV & Film after creating an hour-length film that premiered at Nottingham Arts Theatre and went on to earn a degree in Digital Film Production at Ravensbourne University. After working as a videographer/animator for a marketing agency in London for two years, Ed decided to bring his extensive knowledge back home to provide businesses in Nottingham with a new kind of media production company built on storytelling. Spinning Shapes is a production company and a creative network of like-minded talent that includes an array of talented DOPs, animators, voice actors, and marketing strategists to deliver projects to the highest standard.

Virtual Futures | A Documentary Style Promotional Video for Enactus NTUSpinning Shapes have been working with Nottingham Trent University’s Enactus team to create a virtual reality experience that tackles knife crime. The end product will be an interactive film that teaches teenagers about knife crime, first aid and helps students develop emotional intelligence in a safe environment. We created this short documentary style video (in less than a week!) to explain & promote the project:

  • Hollywell Primary School
Hollywell Primary SchoolA standard yet legitimising promotional video about a forward thinking primary school in Nottingham. This video was created in response to COVID-19! A primary school is not the first client that springs to mind when you mention ‘promotional videos’. With parents deciding only to visit the best schools on their list, we thought that a heartwarming website video would capture the essence of this great school and set it apart from the others in the area, where you can only view pictures of classr
  • The Thomas Cranmer Centre
The Thomas Cranmer CentreOur videographer Ed visited the hall/event space with the intention of capturing the essence of Aslockton and portraying the centre as a venue quaint enough for yoga and large enough for weddings.
