About me
After having my son in 2015, i put my spare time into working on my passion and learning new skills in garment production. After realising my potential as a Self-taught seamstress and fashion designer and pattern cutter, i searched for formal training gaining my Level 1&2 Diploma in Fashion Design & Development, qualifying with Distinction.
From my time studying i learnt that i am an all round creative and enjoy being involved every part of a process, from design to production and even sales, i have a strong attention to detail and take pride in my work.
With my Fashion design qualification, i have also learnt digital design skills (2d & 3d), pattern cutting, fashion illustration and project planning.
I and am interested in learning and contributing as much as i can from any project i am involved in.
Currently I am looking for and Internship/permanent role to practice and enhance my professional skills and gain experience in a working environment.

As a hostess i was the first point of interactions for guests and staff. My duties included managing reservations and seating of 300+ covers, this included taking reservations and explaining table packages. I was responsible for controlling the ambience; sound, lighting and overall quality of service. I successfully created a rapport with guests, helping with enquiries and paying attention to detail to enhance the guest experience and satisfaction. This was also in order to create the daily debrief reports to the manager.
As well as all of this i also helped with PR & Media, creating menu templates, and event leaflets using adobe illustrator.

In this role i learnt a vast amount of information about classic and house cocktails and food we provided to assist with orders. I was responsible for maintaining high standards of service for a 50+ cover seating area, taking and processing orders, cleaning, serving, processing transactions and cashing up daily takings.
