My film work is, to date, all female led stories - drawing from what I know and have experienced. Gender equality is important to me and I try to use mostly female crews where possible. A commission I won for Random Acts was an all female crew on the shoot day and the same in Tokyo for Dita. I have written 2 shorts and a feature that focus on female driven stories representing the underrepresented and dealing with topics of sexual abuse and mental illness. Truth is my core interest and I think 'truth' from a female perspective is still something relatively unexplored. I have a keen interest in sports and music, I'd love to make a music promo for one of the many emerging UK female RnB artists or a film for Roxy about female long boarders in Biarritz.
