Chaired by Melanie Gerlis, Art Market Columnist and Contributor at the Financial Times, the conference will be held at Phillips and is generously supported by Cheyenne Westphal who sits on the AWITA Advisory Board. Work includes business and artist development, media relations, communications strategy, event and project delivery, strategic partnership initiation and management. Work across new business cultivation and pitching, including negotiating fees. Initiated and delivered events including premieres and screenings, exhibitions, VIP and patron delivery, artist book production. Manage all business operations including work flow, consultancy, staffing, IT, legal and finance, reporting, data analysis, finance, client servicing and delivery.

    Worked as right-hand to CEO to establish the headquarters of a new charitable foundation in central London. Studio manager for multi-disciplinary artists, designers, and makers and managed the 9,000 sq. ft building, including public event space. Experience in developing artists, driving sales, advocating to expand networks, and supporting production. We created and oversaw a patron programme as well as data capture processes and usage. Managed verbal/ written reporting to the board, charity commission, public funders, local authority, and corporate sponsors. - Curator and Curatorial Consultant for over 25 public exhibitions with 300+ attendees. - Management of projects within timelines for and with Ketel One Vodka, Swarovski, the V&A, LAPADA Art and Antiques Fair, Fortnum and Mason, JOYCE Hong Kong, and London Craft Week. - Managed 25 annual artist residencies, up to seven annual scholarships, and four annual bursaries with institutional/corporate partners. - Secured through cold calls established names, journalists, and business leaders for speaking in Sarabande’s events programme.
