    men don't know that women poopThis project features the taboo and shame surrounding going to the toilet among women. The work is based on tens of surveys placed in Central Saint Martins' toilets which revealed that 73% of female participants have avoided going to the toilet because they were ashamed of it.     Shame, disgust and taboo in visual (and ideological) communication (dissertation project)My dissertation publication explores the themes of shame, taboo and disgust through publishing. It's an exploration of images that trigger us and what we perceive as repulsive. We are expected to look and behave a certain way and, therefore, hold multiple subconscious biases regarding our own bodies. My work is meant to make us stop and think: 'why is my reaction so strong?'

    OH FUCK, IT’S WETWhat are we disgusted by and why? Over the course of my exploration of the human body, I have been confronted with very extreme reactions toward human feet. The photo album shows the reactions of models who, while being blindfolded, were interacting with food using their bare feet.

This project reflects on cultural similarities between instant noodles and the phenomenon of sexting.
