Description

The role:

The Education Producer supports and works closely with the Senior Education Producer in the planning, producing, staffing and operations of the Education department’s public-facing and course-based programming, delivered year-round on-site and elsewhere. The Education Producing team share responsibility for programming Education activity, alongside site-wide space bookings, championing effective use of spaces, maximising programming and income-generating opportunities, whilst delivering strategic ambitions for the Education department.


The skills:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of project management and/or producing in arts education or theatre. They will work with other departments in a collaborative and flexible manner to deliver year-round public-facing activities for a range of audiences. Demonstrable experience of line management, programming skills, budget management, sound working knowledge of contractual agreements and risk management are essential, as is a clear understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to access-focused and inclusive practice.

We run a year-round programme of activities, courses and events for schools, families, young people, universities, drama schools, scholars and the general public, both on and off-stage. Activities are aligned with values of social justice, access and Shakespeare for all, delivered across the Education Producing, Higher Education, Learning and Research & Collections teams.
