We’ve got an exciting opportunity to work in the Scottish Parliament, in a new role, as a Graphic Designer. You’ll work in our Marketing and Engagement Team within our Parliament Communications Office (PCO). PCO provides a comprehensive and integrated communications function for the Parliament. We use our communications channels to promote and increase understanding of the Parliament and to encourage and facilitate inclusive public engagement in its work.

As Graphic Designer, you’ll work with internal teams in the development and execution of a variety of design work. This includes digital and print design projects. You’ll lead on projects including content marketing, information resources, marketing campaigns, reports and web content to deliver high quality engaging material which helps to promote the Parliament.


You’ll enjoy working in a fast-moving environment and have the ability to think creatively. You’ll have a demonstratable knowledge, and experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AfterEffects. You’ll also have a demonstratable knowledge and experience of design and layout principles, print production and have in using brand guidelines and producing materials that meet accessibility standards.
