Role purpose
Aesop Visual Merchandising endeavours to develop unrivalled design and creativity that challenges and excites, through concepts that resonate with local communities and honour our environment. Visual Merchandisers at Aesop curate a full sensory and spatial experience that does not concede to the mass approach; we create distinctive retail campaigns, installations, photographic sets and events that are executed with formidable artistry.
This role would be responsible for supporting our Regional Visual Merchandising Manager, Europe. They will support retail stores and wholesale partners, such as department stores. This position supports in retail directives for Aesop’s European signature stores and department stores, as well as supporting to deliver the commercial goals.
Following prescriptive guidance from the Global VM team, this role will need to interpret guides and implement them in accordance with Europe. Working closely with Marketing and Wholesale team and collaborating with Training and Store Design to realise all aspects of campaign executions across our retail locations. They will always act as a strong Aesop brand ambassador.
Role responsibilities include, but not limited to –
Overall Campaign Planning and Logistics:
Create campaign timelines on Monday.com & tools including all steps contributed by the Global-Regional-Local VM teams
Adapts the campaign programs to each market, defines tools and initiatives to be implemented depending on stores’ needs and according to budget.
Develop Visual Merchandising teams to submit product forecasting for all upcoming campaigns and launches
Create comprehensive post-campaign reports, review, and monitor effectiveness upon completion of each project
Assist the Regional Visual Merchandiser Manager Europe with co-ordination, and delivery of special projects such as press-facing and in-house events
Wholesale:
Drive strategic merchandising across the department stores, balancing the product focus with campaign navigation and the customer experience
Provide visual merchandising support for other European wholesale partners and stockists as necessary
Review the success of Visual Merchandising displays, collect feedback, and react accordingly, analyse impact and ROI when relevant
Retail
Support the EU needs of the local Visual Merchandising teams and Visual Merchandising Store Opening teams
Working closely with the regional Marketing team for campaigns and communication across teams
Proactively present and escalate highly creative ideas and suggestions to ensure continuous improvement
This is a full time position operating with a hybrid working pattern.
What we are looking for

Confident in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel)

Experience building out project timelines, milestones and production while engaging and gaining approval from all necessary stakeholders
Articulate, composed and great communicator - ability to coordinate and collaborate with all the different markets globally, establish rapport with other teams within the company, and facilitate information sharing
Can-Do attitude and result-orientated workstyle
Experience working in Beauty is highly desirable
