The A Side: A Day in The Life
Universal Music Group for Brands is the dedicated brand agency of Universal Music Group, creating innovative and tailor-made business solutions for brands. We use Music & Entertainment to create innovative and differentiated customer propositions for our brand partners to help them grow their business by turning their customers into fans.
The Brand Partnerships Intern is organised, always one step ahead, solution driven and passionate about the work that goes in to creating ground-breaking campaigns for client partners. They take a flexible approach to their work; not flustered by last minute tasks and deadlines. They pre-empt scenarios and the needs of the team and pride themselves in their attention detail.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to meet and exceed their expectations within the organisational parameters
Ensure delivery of all tasks in a timely manner
Perform general administration tasks as briefed to a high standard
Support the team in collecting and running data reports to support commercial opportunities for both artists and brand partners
Maintain and quality check data dashboards
Assist with data visualization and creating presentation materials that summarize key takeaways and make actionable recommendations
Collect and manage creative research materials – music, pictures, biographies and videos; categorising by format
Questionnaire and online link checking, to ensure the online questionnaires we distribute are accurate
Work with UMG’s wider team of experts (Technology, Commercial Affairs, Digital Planning, Business Affairs, Media and Marketing…) to proactively find solutions to client challenges and opportunities
Support the team with any additional admin support as and when required
Work closely with the Data / Analytics teams in NY, LA and London, ensuring you are up-to-date and involved with the data analysis initiatives developed across the business.
Identify opportunities to develop analysis, providing proactive suggestions and innovating on an ongoing basis.

Experience with SQL preferred, R, Python and/or data visualization experience (Tableau, Domo, Looker, PowerBI, etc.) desirable

The ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines
Energetic and enthusiastic with a team spirit
Proficient in MS Office; with a focus on Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization, etc.) and PowerPoint
